Yes, my friend has his car stolen, he came out about 2 hours after it happened and called the police right away.
They never recovered the car. Also, the car had an alarm and auto-lock pro.

i run it on my sti,
i hear that if you go deep in a underground area (garage/buliding) and keep it out of range, the lowjack is useless. but still tricky.
im planning to use a temporary poor man's low jack....
get a gps enabled prepaid phone. you install the phone deep inside the dash with a wired 12v car charger into it. put it on silent. there is a site to track the "phone" wherever its at. so when your car gets stolen, sign onto the site, and track your "phone" aka wherever ur car is at.

sounds like a good cheap plan.
i might just try it. but what do you do when you know where the car it? call the cops or kick down doors with an ak?

i hear the way that they do it is they discharge the car and then they just tow it...making your autolock or alarm usless.
lojack only works when you report it and if a cop car has a lojack dectector. it will send of an signal to all the cops within the radious of the car ( dont know how big the radious is).
clifford offers a gps tracking system for like 700 bucks plus a 100/year plan to check your vechical online. im guess its useless if they discharge your car.
auto lock they can saw your pedals off.
ur car can never be 100% protected. unless u have a gauard with a gun with the car at all times.
but then again if u can afford a guard u wouldnt be worried about your honda getting stolen.

if u can't afford lojack, just order one of their sticker and post that on your window. for extra measure, install a killswitch to ur fuel pump. but again, theres no match against a towtruck. if they really want it, its gone. thats y i try to keep my car lowkey and stock-beatup looking. but then again, i lived in LA and my car has been broken into 4times. curse to all u theives!!!!!
