Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
Here is my DIY for changing front bearings with a Harbor Freight Tool Set ($90). It's worth it if you love tools and are a hard-core DIY'er... lol

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
Here is a list of part numbers for different rear hubs that I made when helping out another HT member:
NTN Part numbers & Interchange Part#’s
Rear:
- HUB008-72 = 513035 = BR930033 = EF/EG/EK NON-ABS rear drum hub/bearing
- HUB005-65 = 512034 = BR930127 = EG/EK/DC NON-ABS rear disc hub/bearing
- HUB005-36 = 513033 = BR930010 = EF/DA NON-ABS rear disc hub/bearing
- HUB005-37 = 513105 = BR930113 = EG/DC ABS rear-disc hub/bearing (not Type R)
- HUB008-71 = BR930480 = EK ABS rear-drum hub/bearing
- HUB186-6 = = DC2/EK9 Type R 5x114.3 w/ ABS
Front:
- AU0907-7LXLL588 = 510030 = EG/DC/EK 10.4” & Type R front-disc wheel bearing
- AU0811-6LXLL588 = 510015 = EG/EK 9.5” front-disc wheel bearing
- DE0829LLCS32PX15A = 513241 = DA 10.4” front-disc wheel bearing
- DAC3872W-10CS42 (KOYO) = 513024 = EF 9.5” front-disc wheel bearing
Hands down best prices for OEM/NTN bearings are at FindItParts.com. Not only are they the lowest, but you can find coupon codes for extra 10% off that helps cover postage. Current code is 2ap311 last time I checked.

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
Just wanted to thank you OP, have to replace mine as soon as the next rainless day hits. Also, for what it's worth, here's some relevant info on the rear wheel bearings:
I got my bearing assemblies from Rockauto.com for $30 each
Did a little bit of leg work and found out that Timken makes the OEM hub/bearing assy, which uses the NTN bearing. The Timken part number is 513035 and they can be had for $40-50 after shipping on most auto parts websites.

FYI: Then HUB008-72 is the right hub for you. Additional part number shown is 513035. Finditparts has cheap shipping ($6 for 2 hubs to NV) and a 15% off coupon you can use in the later stages of checkout "2ap311" that worked as of Monday. I don't think you can find a better price on NTN hubs.
http://www.finditparts.com/products/.../ntn-hub008-72
BTW: I don't think Timken actually makes anything. They just buy and repackage. Their front Integra wheel bearings are made by F.A.G. instead of NTN or Koyo.
***edit: Here's what I found about part numbers:
NTN Part numbers:
- HUB008-72 = 513035 = BR930033 = EF/EG/EK NON-ABS rear drum hub/bearing
- HUB005-65 = 512034 = BR930127 = EG/EK/DC NON-ABS rear disc hub/bearing
- HUB005-36 = 513033 = BR930010 = EF/DA NON-ABS rear disc hub/bearing
- HUB005-37 = 513105 = BR930113 = EG/DC ABS rear-disc hub/bearing
- HUB008-71 = BR930480 = EK ABS rear-drum hub/bearing
You can buy the non-abs hub and transfer the ABS ring from your old hub to save some money.

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
I have done a lot of searching. But I can not find the information I need. I have a 92 civic si rear disk NON ABS... which ABS hub can I use?

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
Yes... I know weird right. I am going to be using the abs ring as a speed sensor. BUT I need to find an ABS hub that will fit my 92 si rear disk spindle.

When I bought wheel bearings they had ABS and non-ABS versions available at Advance Auto Parts. The non-ABS was cheaper and I re-used my ABS ring.

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
Slide your new bearing on to check fit. MINE WAS THE WRONG ONE, EVEN THOUGH PART NUMBER WAS CORRECT! It slid on there but the center hole was much too big, it wasn't a snug fit at all. I had to go back and get one without the ABS ring, this one fit perfect. Take a screwdriver/hammer and hammer the old ring off, then center it on the new bearing and use a piece of wood in between to ensure it goes down evenly.

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
Thanks for this great how to, with pictures! I changed the rear hub out today. I also had the inner race stay on the spindle. There is an easier way to get the race off than be removing the backing plate. Just slide your long screwdriver down through the brake cylinder and tap the race a little. Do this on each side. Then grab it with your piers and pull it off. Simple!
Here is my awesome diagram. Red screwdrivers. Green bad inner race.

Re: DIY: How to replace rear wheel bearing (drum brakes)
That works in a pinch, but you have to pull the wheel cylinder to do that. Or am I misunderstanding?
Instead, if you hit the stuck race with a torch (or maybe even MAP) it should pull off the spindle with pliers.

Nothing extra needed to be pulled. Just slide the screwdriver down between the cylinder and the backing plate.
