back into the mani and builds up as "sludge" or brunt in the engine. either way its bad for the engine.

I have a d16y8. The crankcase breather hose goes from my valve cover to my air intake tube. Is this the line that I'd put the catch can on? Maybe I'm just confused....

Who cares if the motor is stock. Did he anywhere say it was to give him more power? It's people like you that keep people from posting DIY threads. If you don't like it or are just jealous b/c you did not think of it or could not DIY keep your comments to yourself. </TD></TR></TABLE>

and your an even bigger moron

post the dyno differences and if you get more hp from a catch can on a bone stock motor , ill give you the keys to my car.

i know it will help keep blowby out of hte intake , but stock motors come like that right , so i dont think its really a big deal on a stock motor</TD></TR></TABLE>

jeez, i knew you didnt even know what an oil catch can does. here's a hint...it doesnt give you horsepower.

no you put it inline with the hose that goes from the PCV valve to the intake manifold.

omg dude, just stop. you STILL dont get it. adding a oil catch can to your car IS NOT going to free up horsepower or give you more horsepower, on either FI or NA..its to keep your freakin engine clean, which might rob horsepower if it gets dirty and gunky.

i hate to drag this on, but it wont free up horsepower. what exactly do you mean by that because saying "it will free up horsepower" is saying it will give you more horsepower. for instance, an intake will free up horsepower. bottom line...catch can = 0hp gain. its just there to help keep oil vapors and gunk out of the engine.

ghetto!
what happens when it fills up? Not too big. Nothing worse than going on a date and having to pull over "hey baby, I got to empty my catch can, it might be full".
