Del Sol VTEC Dual Core Radiator Info
Recently, I began putting a b-swap in my daily driver eg hatch. Well, I forgot about the old dual cam engines having larger radiator hose sizes. Easy fix I'll just go to Autozone and get a Del Sol VTEC dual core radiator and be done with it. NOPE! Autozone sells the same radiator for the single cam and dual cam engines knowing damn well the inlet and outlets are too damn small for VTEC models.
After, I dug around and researched inlet/outlet sizes I found that the correct size inlet/outlet b-swaps need is 1-1/4. I soon found a company you might be familiar with KOYORAD and not only due they sell all aluminum racing radiators Koyorad also sells oem replacement style radiators. Doing a quick search on their website I came up with a part # C1570. That part number has the dual core along with 1-1/4 outlet and inlet size b-swaps need. I pulled the trigger on a no name ebay account selling that number and guess what ?! Radiator came in and was the perfect fit down to holes from radiator fan mounting.
Sure you could go and clap the **** out the hose or cut a piece of your old hose and slide your b-swap hose over but I'm not like that. I wont do anything half assed like that and this thread is mainly for people like me who want a clean install and not some patch or bandaid that may or may not work.
Here is a link http://www.koyorad.com/search.asp to search Koyorad's website and while you are there search 95 Acura GSR and 95 Honda DelSol 1.6 VTEC to see for yourself.

Good for you to put this out there !
Most of us have learned this the hard way.....
- Any B-series swap will need a half-rad with 1-1/4" inlet and outlet to fit the b-series hoses properly....
- stock civics i.e. d-series engines use radiators with 1-1/8" inlet and outlet

You are correct. Also, I forgot to mention the Koyorad #C1570 only runs around 100 bucks. It's a little bit more than AutoZone but well worth it in my opinion. I'll take some pictures of it later today.

this is basic knowledge....also there's ppl who don't like buying no-name crap so for them I recommend skunk2, vibrant, misimoto or OEM Honda b series ones(simplest).
