del sol seat problem!! help!!
I almost bought some mint del sol seats today to replace the garbage EG seats in my 93 del sol SI...the previous owner swapped these seats in because the del sol ones from the factory were worn out...
no bueno, having EG seats in a del sol...the EGs are already uncomfortable, i don't really fit well into them, having a 36inch waist...plus, i'm tall, so the EG seats have me posted too high up so my knees hit the steering hub cover where the key is...
now, the problem with the mint sol seats was, when i had them in my car, the inner rear hole in the slider was angled from the factory, preventing me from bolting them into my factory del sol, which has a flat hole in the inner rear rail...
so, why would a del sol seat not fit into a del sol? it makes no sense...i'd like to buy these seats, but i don't know whether or not i should use the inner brackets from my EG seats...it looks like the outer side would fit...but the inners from the EG seats are modified too...the bend is cut off and an end from a del sol is bolted on...would this be safe in an accident?
also, from looking at parts diagrams on Majestic honda, the EG brackets and Ek brackets have that inner rear bend from the factory...so, it's not a difference in del sol seats of different years..
would a del sol outer rail and the modded inner rail cause the sit to sit lopsided? or would they both be at the right height? if not, could the outer rails from my EG seats bolted in make the seat sit at an identical height to the EG seats i have now?
it would defeat the purpose of my whole seat swap if the del sol seats sat at the same height as my EG ones...

Re: del sol seat problem!! help!!
i solved the problem by swapping the brackets that were in the car before to the del sol seats...
the drivers side only lined up on two holes, but the rear one was redrilled and bolted in...
the seat position is great
