Defroster--Fuse shortage...now what?
My defroster was shorted out tonight because I was trying this method; https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=817274, of linking my Del Sol Aux. lights into the defroster button. It worked like a charm until I let two different wires touch each other.
I checked the 15amp fuse for the rear defroster under the hood and replaced it with 2 other 15amp fuses--still it doesn't turn on. No light from the switch & nothing is defrosting...
My obvious question is would the "RR defroster Relay" fuse (small black boxed shaped fuse) should also be looked at? It's under the hood, in the fuse box, & near the Rear Defroster fuse. I'm not even sure what that "RR Defroster Relay" is so I didn't mess with it.
Well any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.
CLIFF NOTES:
Messed with Aux. lights wires & defroster switch wires but not without shorting the defroster--and now defroster does not turn on. Checked 15amp fuse under the hood & replaced--still doesn't work.

check the relay. and there is also (i beleive) a fuse inside the fuse box inside the car. and if that dose not work then just start checking all of your fuses. It may be linked to another fuse that you would not think of.

How would I go by checking the relay? I also checked the fuse box inside the car as mentioned in my original post but still it isn't working.

take the relay out and shake it. if you hear stuff in side that sounds broken then bingo. Or you could just take it out and put in a temporary one to see if it works.

Just yank the sucker out and shake it like a polaroid picture? Got it, I'll do it as soon as I am free. Thanks for the response.

No actually. I went ahead with the other mod and lit up my Aux. lights during the day. I tried rounding up all the fuses for the RR def and replaced them--nothing.
When I'm all out of ideas, I get lazy to do further problem solving.
