Hey guys, I need some technical perspective here. I have a Crower Stage 2 NA cam currently in my D16y8. I'm converting the motor to be a mid boost setup. I'm looking for ~300whp, and the motor will probably see about 14psi, and rev to about 8000rpm.

It's been recommended by many that I swap out my NA cam for a ZEX 105300. Most boosted D builders swear by the ZEX cam; however, from the specs I've seen, it's not much different than the Crower Stage 2 NA cam.

Can somebody with some cam knowledge explain to me why the ZEX cam would be better for mid-boost than the Crower Stage 2 NA cam? I'm primarily looking for technical responses with references to the specs on each cam, but I'm also open to opinions of what you guys think is the best cam for a boosted D16y8.

Exospeed, if you'd like to chime in, I'm also considering a custom cam from you. Let me know what my options are with Exospeed.
