Default d16z6 weird idle

ok when i start up my car it idle high and warm up fine.. then idle drop too normal... but when i drive it sometimes the check engine light come on.. when i stop.. the idle drop real low.. but car doesnt stall.. it feel like it wanna stall.. but then when i drive off for a while and stop again.. idle goes back too normal... does anyone know what could be causing this.. thanks in advance..

I think if you adjust the idle screw a tad it may make the problem better, if not solve it entirely...but def. figure out the CEL.

should be ur O2 sensor went bad. replace it and that should solve it.

i had the same problem with my it was the idal thermal control vale located on the intake manifold under the throttle body

Honda has a bad electrical set up also i had that problem and i put 10.2 spark wires on and it doesn' t happen no more also the o2 sensor is bad i would replace that first

the ecu code was 22... vtec was clogged up.. everything is fixed now.. no more check engine and vtec crack hard now.. iam gonna change o2 sensor anyways too be on the safe side since it look pretty dirty.. thanks everybody

Yeah I think that's what he's saying.

Don't see how that caused a fluctuating idle problem though.

code 22 check the solenoid ground,

idle problem? IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE or FAST IDLE VALVE
