you will need d17 crank and rods. Not sure what pistons to run. Ask some one who done this. If no one responds you would have to test fit and measure.

D17 crank/rods/pistons/oil pump. The 30mm compression height standard D16 pistons will not fit. You will also need a B16 crank pulley (not recommended), or bore the sohc unit for the 28mm crank snout.

The belt alignment is slightly off, allowing for side wear on the accessory belts.

Re: (Jim Truett)
if all that you are running is an alternator you can shim out and gind out (to offset) the alternator bracket to make it work with that crank pulley.

I was thinking about getting an 01 civic pulley and hoping the ribs i need will align. But I'm pretty sure it has more ribs. And I am only using it to run the alternator.
I have a d16y7 block, d17 crank rods pistons and oil pump, a d16y8 head. And if it runs when it goes in I will throw a turbo on it.

True, but I'm **** about things being perfect. I run AC/PS/Alternator so the SOHC pulley was what I needed. I also have access to a lathe.
It shouldn't cost more than $50 at a machine shop to have it resized.

The 01+ use a single serpentine belt, and you might be able to make it work, but you might need a slightly longer belt.
With a turbo it will make impressive torque for a D.
