It'll rock.
The one good part I can say about doing it though is it relocates your TB to the side making it normal for a turbo charge pipe or CAI.
In my personal opinion the Y7 TB forces the air into a corner too fast and slows it down...that's just my personal opinion on the matter. As for bolting up and expecting an extra 20hp, you can forget about that. It will bolt right up, but it'll probably net you as much as a header, maybe a little more, maybe a little less.
No, you won't have to "update" your ECU.
BTW: What the **** do you mean by "update your ECU?" I think you mean chip and tune the ECU - which no, you don't HAVE to do that, but it would always be a good thing. Though not worth it in my opinion.
