Is a d16y7 a VTEC or not?????

I've got a '99 dx hb w/ a d16y7 and read that it is VTEC. Is that true???

Is not vtec, but dont be so sad, is not that much slower then am vtec sohc one.

what i mean is, the DX 5 speed can give Ex with vtec 5 speed a run, stock wise.
Maybe even kick them. ahahaha

me and my friend with a 00' EX coupe are pretty even till bout half way through third, i have a 00' dx hatch

oh, just incase u dont kno, the speed for fuel cutoff is below

1st: 42mph
2nd: 73mph
3rd: 101mph
4th: ???
5th: ???
