Will the d16y7 intake manifold fit on the d16y8 vtec head?

yes, but if you're doing it on a manual transmission Y8 its not going to work with the manual ECU due to the Y7 having a 3 wire IACV and the manual Y8 2 wire

its a manual trans for a y7.
