D16y7 intake manifold compatible with y8 head?
Im swapping a y8 into my 99 civic and im wondering if i can use the y7 intake manifold with the y8. Thanks for all the responses.

Bolt up yes, as far as compatible with your ECU, depends. If you car is auto it'll be fine but if you plan on using a manual P2P ECU then you'll need to convert to a 2 wire IACV and you can not use the Y7 manifold.

If your car is a manual, you can still use the intake. You'll have to splice the 2 wires fron the harness to your stock connector. Its been a while, but I think you leave out the orange wire. Either way, get some schematics and get after it. PS: is there an advantage to using the Y7 intake over the Y8 or is it just because its what you have?

No the 3 wire IACV is not compatible with Y8 manual ECU. Two totally different IACV types. Now if you stay with the Y7 ECU, not sure why you would, but then it would work with the 3 wire IACV on the throttle body.
