D16y7 distributor plug mystery..
Ok this is very odd.
I have a 2000 D16y7 DX engine harness and a 96-98 civic LS distributor.
The distributor plug does not match my 00 harness's distributor plug. My harness has 8 wires, and the distributor has 9. They don't even plug in.
Now this is where it gets weird. I have another cut up 2000 D16y7 DX engine harness, and the plug on THAT harness fits my 96-98 distributor.
Now, the part numbers on BOTH harness's are the same so I know they are the same year. 32110-P2F-A003
What is up with this? Are there any different distributor plug styles for different models? **** I'm pissed because I don't know what distributor to look for to make it work.
