d16 and zex cam
I was curious of peoples experience with the zex street/strip cam in a D16z6. Preferably information with stock valvetrain and whatnot, but if not I would still like to hear some feadback. Dyno graphs would also be appreciated.

I have the stage 2 cam. There's a LOT of info floating around that I've been involved with. If you have anymore questions, e mail me.

Re: d16 and zex cam (DMF)
no figures yet. I have a spare head with Crower Springs, Skunk 2 retainers, a better port job than I have now, and another block with p29 pistons fully balanced on shot peened stock rods.
Before the Zex cam on my stock engine minus .020 mill and port/polish, I ran a 15.5 at 88mph with full interior and 2.3 60 footers.
We;ll see some tuning and dyno, and of course 1/4 mile times. I expect low 14's on street tires.
Edit- I'll be putting my Zex cam into that spare head...I'm running it right now with stock valve train. Works great!. Stage 2 BTW

I had a 59300 cam in my sohc vtec d15b (JDM), personally I would go with a Crower cam which offers much wider choices of cams.
later on the cam was sold to a friend of mine (he is on board as Moosila), he dynoed the cam on his d16z6 with boltons and went from 124whp to 128whp after tuning. gains of about 4-6whp and 3-7lb.ft of torque overall. (i can't remeber exact figures)
check, he posted his dynos there:
