Default D16 Idle problems

I'm having problems knowing whats wrong with the idle of my car.
It would start up fine and drive fine but for example, when I stop at a red light, it would idle about 500ish rpms. is it normal? it seems too low for me..
im not sure where to start looking for the problem first, any advice?

bump. in for ideas. mine just started doing it lately as well, only like 300-400 rpms. dont know how it stays running. wasthinking maybe the fuel filter is clogged a lil, or maybe my timing is off just a tad?

couple of things I came across

low coolant
dirty iacv
loose fitv
you can always adjust the idle screw on the throttle body if none of the above work.

i think the fitv is under the throttle body. apparently the plastic piece can become loose allowing air to leak.

Mines idle low somethings for me. I know its leaking coolant somewhere, could that be the problem? My engine seems to be very hot after i drive it. Im not sure where to search for or what to do the fix, im planning on swapping, would it be a worth it fix?
