Icon6 d15b7 no spark/weak spark

Hello everyone,
i own a 95 civic and recently came across a mind-boggling problem. From the beginning- I was leaving work and the car was running extremly rough, felt like misfires and couldnt go but a certain speed. So i got it home and wanted to pull the wires to see if it would make a difference on the spark. I pulled #1 and it ran the same. I pulled #2 and it ran the same, but then it cut off. So i started the car back up and it ran for a few sec and then it cut off again. tried to turn it over again and it would not start.

needless to say i have spent quite a bit expecting to solve the problem by replacing the dizzy, cap, button, wires, ignition harness, still no start. i am getting a weak spark but no start. ive tried replacing the main relay, same result, to i took that back. i do not want to keep guessing, i would much rather solve the problem.

also there were two more signs that may help. my battery had died and i hearing electric surges at the IAC module behind the throttle body/intake body. idk if that could be a possible problem or not

please help as soon as possible

I hate to be the one to state the obvious...But did you check your ignition coil?

I started a topic like a week ago on distributors and there is a nice picture someone posted.

EDIT: When you pulled your wires did you ground them out? It's like playing Russian roulette with your electronics if you are just pulling plug wires without grounding them out.

i did pull it and thought it was grounded and probably pulled it too far out and caused it to ground somewhere else.
Now would replacing the whole distributor with a rebuild distributor correct the ignition coil problem or am i just still assuming?

Electricity has one thing it likes to do, find its way back home. If you are just pulling plug wires without grounding them out where they attach to the distributor, that big juicy spark that normally ignites your fuel will end up arcing somewhere else in the vehicle. It is likely you made things worse. If I were you I would quit throwing money at it and get my hands on a manual and do some testing on the ignition coil. If you send my a PM with your email address I can send you a copy of a manual if you don't have one yet. From what I gather, the only time you need to replace the distributor as a whole is if the seals and bearings are bad.
