cv joint help
i need to replace my driver side cv jiont cause it's bad obviously. i got it from napa and everyone has told me it's easy to put on. i cant get the first bolt off thats holding it in. i punched out the safety pinch in it too. any advice

You'll have to get to the axle nut with the wheel on, at least I did.
So keep the wheel on, fairly tight, and leave the car on the ground. I'm not sure on the axle nut size (32mm?), but use a torque wrench and it shouldn't be too bad (mine wasn't too bad). You might have problems with the phillips screws (holding the rotor) especially if they're stripped. After you have the brakes off, you'll have to pry the joint off from the block. Then you'll be ready to either replace a boot or an axle. Good luck and let us know how things work out
