About a couple weeks ago my inner and outer cv boot was torn, I'm wondering before i replace my cv boots will the cv joint be fine or will i have to replace joint? and whats the average cost to have someone replace it?

Re: CV Axle Boot?
If it's only been a couple of weeks and it's not making noise when turning, you should be fine with just replacing the boots. Don't know what the labor would be to have it done, but if you do it yourself the boots are like 20 bucks?

Re: CV Axle Boot?
it does make noise when i only turn hard right, the cv boots are torn in half on both inner and outer cv boots and i thought since they were torn in half that it would make that noise when turning.

On my old Civic, it was about $180 for the boot(s) + labor + grease, etc. I can't recall the details now, but I pretty sure it was not for all the boots.

That's true for everything when one need to pay someone else to do it. I had the crusie control fixed by a Ford dealer years ago. The parts was $25. The price + labor was $300.
