Default Coolant Leak Issues

Over the last week my 94 ex has been losing coolant a lot worse than usual. Before I would have to fill the coolant overflow tank(non-pressurized cap) once every month or so. I now have been filling the tank every day before i drive any where. When it is parked overnight there is a sometimes a small puddle under the car and seems to leak while driving(would say more than when parked but not totally sure). Have replaced radiator about two years ago and upper hose last winter. Puddle appears to be under the passenger side of the engine. Has not overheated yet(drove it about 40 miles straight with no issues). Lower hose looks good and puddle isn't directly under the radiator so ruled that out. Might be small crack in overflow tank but seems to leak to much for that to be the issue.
At this point thinking it is freeze plug because of the location of the puddle and saw drips on the bottom of the transmission near the drain bolt. Let me know what yall think and feel free to ask questions.
Also looking for any DIY and resources on how to change freeze plugs and a good place to purchase them.
Also in school and work weekends so hard to find time to work on the car when it is cold. Can i change a plug while hot or no. Also my life is worth more than 850 car so not gonna take chances.
Thanks for any help!

Check your heater hoses and the smaller hoses that supply coolant to the fitv and iacv (eacv). Also give an inspection to your heater valve. There are also bypass hoses to check over there, as well as the thermostat housing and it's various components. much of the cooling system can cause a leak on the passenger side... :\

Also, trying to visualize my d series block downstairs but I don't recall seeing freeze plugs in it.

I don't think the Honda D series blocks have freeze plugs or provisions for them.

I will double check tomorrow to be 100% sure.

Yeah there is also the spot for the block heater if the heater isn't installed.

Definitely not the same as the thin circle freeze plugs typically found on domestic blocks.

Check the coolant/heater hose that runs from underneath distributor to the fire wall (into heater core). That hose can get deteriorated from oil leaking from the distributor's O-ring seal. Coolant\heater hose may have developed a small slit at the top.

Was this hose that was leaking on the bottom right where it goes to the engine. Put a new hose on this afternoon. Didn't have the hose in stock so just had a piece cut that was the correct size and length. Should work and won't have to keep dumping coolant into it....

Honda Sievics always leaking from somewhere... oil leaks, coolant leaks, trunk leaks.

Don't forget to bleed air out of the coolant system.

super untrue. 295,500 miles and zero leaks. my trunk leaks a little, but it is from copious amounts of rot. you can see what i have in my trunk if you look from the right angle

This would make for a good poll. I think you might be in the minority.
How many oil leaks have you fixed since ownership?

Here's the typical suspect areas:
1) distributor O-ring
2) rear main seal
3) valve cover gasket
4) oil pan gasket,
5) Vtec solenoid gasket
6) crankshaft seal
7) camshaft seal

Yep.. that's the key. Well, with any engine, really. Replacing the PCV every third oil change helps. Just seems like there's a a lot of threads about oil leaks. My stock '97 EX coupe has a very slow rear main seal leak that I intend to repair..someday..soon..when-I-get-around-to-it...soon..someday.
