Cliking-type noise coming from rear when braking moderately-hard.
My bro has 1994 civic ex sedan with abs, and about 86,000 miles on the odometer, with everything stock.
He says that when he is braking moderately hard from say, 40mph, there seems to be a "clicking-thunking" (sounds like knocking on wood table) noise coming from the rear right (passanger) (brakes?). The noise only happens or is able to be heard when braking moderately hard from about 40mph to 0. He also says that the noise goes with the speed at which the car is slowing: like dadada-da-da--da. He says there is no vibration felt through the pedal and that braking performance seems to be the same. It is not a screeching type of noise, nor a scraping type of noise.
He just changed out the rear rotors and pads a week ago. And he says it's not the abs sensor touching; he made sure it cleared when changing the rotors. The car doesn't pull to either side when braking.
He thinks it could possibly be the right rear passanger wheel bearing (which would be a pain to fix, but would't it make noise all the time?), or it could be that the runout on the rotor is off, but improbable because they are brand new rotors, but possible if the bearings are bad.
He also said that he read a couple archived posts saying that it could possibly be the caliper pins and caliper-to-pads contacts need to be re-greased, or that the shocks or suspension bushings are going out and need to be replaced. But he said that movement was fine on the caliper pins when he switched out the rotors, and the pads are using the molykote stuff that the honda pads come with.
He hasn't had an alignment done yet in over four years, and he thinks that maybe the pads and rotors are still breaking in.
Any input and help would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post, but tried to be detailed.
Thanks in advance.

Re: (Carlo)
He checked the lugs and they are fine. Everything is nice and tight as far as bolts and lugs go. He also just thought that maybe it could be something in the fuel tank or the fuel sloshing around?
TIA.
TIA.
