?? Change Clutch, Not pressure plate???
my friend recently gave me a clutch and i was wondering if i can change my clutch without changing the pressure plate?

i would spend the money and replace both also resurface the flywheel unless u are planning on swapping it or just need it for a short time. But while u are there take the extra insurance.

I think most places you go you can only get the whole kit (pressure plate, disc, throwout bearing, etc.). At the dealer the disc is only $90.

You can just change the disc, just make sure you resurface your flywheel and that you inspect your pressure plate for excessive wear or physical damage. If you have a helms manual it will tell you how to determine if your pressure plate is reusable or not.

why waste the time pulling everything out just so your release bearing will go or your flywheel will be damaged!!! Replace everything and you won't have problems
