Never had one on a honda before, I did have one on a Suzuki 4 banger. Worked good for that application. A RWD that dynoed 130hp at 7600rpm and 105lb lbs/foot at 4200rpm, when the stock engine produced a little over 90 hp and 60 lb feet of torque.
Dunno on hondas though. Engagement will probably be a lot stiffer for not that much increase of holding power as far as compared to other popular clutches for honda.

Yup, that's the same use we had for the suzuki, only thing with the CF clutch was that it was really grabby, kinda like an on off switch, clutch was either engaged or not, which kinda sucked for rock crawling, couldn't feather the clutch.
I don't know how they do on Hondas though, they have three or four types of clutchs, the CF 1 and II and the dual friction. The dual friction is supposed to be the strongest.
CFI is most like oem, I don't see any point in getting that if it costs as much as I would think it would. Hopefully someone on the board has some feedback on CF clutches in hondas...

Well, a friend of mine (who is rough on launching them) hated his as it gave up the ghost FAST!And others with turbo & nitrous had probs. I blew up one in both my SHO and mustang - way too fast also. I would suggest for heavier duty apps Clutchmasters Stage 4(00)....

I would post this same question on the Forced Induction forum. There are quite a few guys that have had experience with the Centerforce. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hey, thanks for the input everyone!

Someone also told me something about the weights falling off too? Anyone heard of this?

i have the dual friction in my car and it has held up fine thus far. i dont drive terribly hard, but i dont drive the car easy either. i have also auto-x'ed with it and there have been no problems. the dual friction clutch actually has the same pedal feel as the stock clutch.....no extra stiffness to contend with.....althugh some people like that. good luck with your decisions.

Chris

Thanks for the feedback! How long have you had it?
Did you get a lightened flywheel too? Or did you just get it resurfaced?

I have had one on my CRX for 2years now. The car is bone stock and I am sure it makes less power than it dd new. Also, my girl has been driving it for the past year...and the clutch i toast. I will never buy another Centerforce POS again...also this is a dual friction clutch! Hope that helps!

I had one but the weights fell off and seized my flywheel and clutch together, if you are into serious racing buy a ceramic disc from ACT
