Default Car's sucking up gas like nothing

I own a del sol. When i start driving, my car revs up really slow and it's getting to the point where everyone passes me up a lot on the road. At the moment, i have to replace my vtec solenoid gasket since it's leaking a bit and i have to clean out my throttle body and CAI since i tried messing with the little brass screw when my car kept stalling. it's not stalling anymore since i did that, but it tries to hit 0 when i stop at a stop light sometimes causing my motor to want to cut in and out, so i know in fact i have to clean out the throttle body, didn't get to it yet since i have to have another throttle body gasket in hand. I'm thinking maybe if i do all of that, it should be fine again? idk.

And pressing the accelerator harder than i really had to before to get my car going is sucking up my gas like crazy, so it's making my gas mileage really bad. i paid 17 dollars for gas 2 days ago, and it barely made it to the middle mark and it doesn't take much money to fill up a del sol's gas tank.

what do you guys think?

pull carb, do a full cleaning on it. Do a full tune up on the engine. reset idle, reset computer.

change the gas filter it might be clogged. Is it manual or automatic? sounds like clutch to me if you car isn't going anywhere.
