sticky accelerator

Default sticky accelerator

what's the best way to combat this? it only sticks when i'm completely off the gas, get ready to take off, and then i rev like a ricer

Clean the throttle body and adjust the throttle cable to have about 1/2" of slack.

i had a similar problem with my car, but it went away after i lubricated the grommet through which the throttle cable goes through the firewall with some white lithium grease.
