Car feels unstable at 70+ mph
i've noticed in my car when i go faster then 70 mph that the car tends to feel unstable. like i don't have good control over the car. my suspension setup is coilovers on stock shocks, so could this be the problem? or could it be that i need an alignment ever since lowering my car?

Re: Car feels unstable at 70+ mph (CivicCLMT)
'unstable' as in the car will feel like it will want to veer off into next lane. and it feels like the steering is kinda loose when it's not.
i've driven in all my friends cars with coilovers and stock struts and it doesn't feel any where close to my car. i'm guessing the toe and camber adjustment could be off. is that a possibility?

Get your car aligned, sounds like you have toe in or toe out. It happened to my friends 93 Si hatch, really not fun to drive like that

If you never aligned your car after lowering it, do so. It'll save your tires, and it might fix this problem too.

check your control arm bushings
check condition of your tie rods
check suspension ball joints
check to make sure that your camber kit (if you have one) is on and tightened to spec.
Beyond this, check wheel balancing and alignment.
