okay so like when i was going up a hill the rpms started to glitch out on me like going from 3k to 5.5k. so i slowed down and down shifted into 4th. but it kept doing it as long as i was going up hill. the gears wouldn't always catch either. when i got to the top and started to coast down, then the gears would catch. but when i went up this one hill, i had to pull over cause the rpms wouldn't stop going over like 5k. i tried to put it in first but it wouldn't catchAnd now when I put it into gear and release the clutch the car does not stall out. When I have the clutch released and I gas it in first gear the RPMs go up. No gears catch at all but acts as if it's in neutral. Coolant and brake and clutch fluid is okay.

like i start it up like i normally would. put it in first. pop the clutch out and it acts as if its in neutral. i gas it and the rpms go up

i have no idea what is wrong with it really. can you help me out?
