for those of you with an aftermarket header and strait pipe to a canister muffler do yall notice with the ac on the exhaust is a LOT deeper in tone and has an annoying drone bass noise to it?

ya i know this exhaust dose that anyway but im used to it being a humming sound turning into a buzzing sound i just got my ac fixed and the drone at cruising speeds is INSANELY bassy and annoying its almost not worth even using the ac..

any way to make it sound like it did before but with the ac on lol.

The A/C actually working causes the engine to be under a different load than it as before.

Best advice?

Fix the exhaust by adding at least a resonator. It'd be super cheap, and it would sound much better overall.

I'm sorry but I've NEVER heard a single straight pipe-to-muffler exhaust sound like anything other than total **** on an N/A Honda.

Reason is, you just fixed your AC and it's working strong which is good, while having a shitty exhaust. It's all normal, just re-do your exhaust. I hear a different tone on my axleback (stock piping) when my A/C is on, but it's not horrible because... stock piping and resonator.

Just on a suggestion note I have a header and 2.5" straight back to a magnaflow hush power. No crappy buzzing sound at any speed nice and quiet until about 5500rpm.
