Breather hose issue after intake install
Hey HT,
Just installed a short ram intake and am having issues deciding where the breather hose goes. I installed in on a d16y7 and theres like a series hoses that lead to the throttle body and other close areas. I saw pictures of others intakes and they install it directly to the engine. I threw it on the end of the line, you'll see in the picture. Idk if I should leave it where I have it or directly feed it to the engine.
Thanks !

Re: Breather hose issue after intake install
NO intake bypasses the throttlebody let alone the whole intake manifold. the y7 has an odd intake manifold shape(probably what's throwing you off) compare to the y8 and other vtec d series engines. So in short leave it you did it right there's no other/more direct way to install what you have
