Brake Pedal Goes to the Floor, Brakes do not work unless....
Ok I will make this short and sweet...
out of the blue today, I went to press the brake pedal and it went to the floor, didn't even start off hard and sink slowly, felt like the pedal wasn't connected to anything... only way it worked was mepumping it like 4-5 times then it would hold pressure, and was fine, it would not slowly sink or anything...
It happen as soon as I started going down a hill, then has stayed like that since I got home...
My MC went before, and got it replaced with new OEM, but that was diff, as the brake pedal was hard at first and slowly sunk, but this just goes straight down, nothing...
I havnt touched the brakes for a year, and brake fluid is full to the top, I havnt touch anything to do with the brakes either, so this is all news to me...
I have searched for an answer but all of the cases seem to sink slowly... so this is weird.

Either your MC is completely f'd (not just a little broken) or your brake booster may be gone. Since you said after the pressure was built it would stay I'm leaning strongly towards the BB.
Quick BB test:
With car off pump the brakes up and hold them. Turn the car on. If the pedal sinks a little bit your booster is fine.
Are you 100% your fluid levels have not dropped at all? I had a similar problem with a leaking caliper.

If it was the booster he would still have some pressure, it would actually be harder to press the brakes (no power assist).

The booster pin might be missing the MC completely?

Ok I replaced my M/C today with a rebuilt one. Bled the brakes but the pedal still goes all the way to the floor, the brakes only catch a bit right at the very end..
I am stumped, no leaks anywhere, so I left it at the mechanics tonight.

Re: (Cookie)
no cracks in the lines, i searched everything is dry, no problems at all.
I did the check on the booster by following the instructions in the helms and all checked out fine, if it was the plunger in the booster is there anyway to test that?
other than going by what I mentioned as symptoms?

Re: (loudsubz)
quik update
I grabbed some bolts that where relatively close to the same pitch as the brake lines.. and undid the brake lines and put them in those 2 holds, pedal pressure both with the car on and off improved 100%, althought i woulnd't slam on the brakes hard because some fluid was dripping out, but it helped alot, would a test like this indicate everything up front is working fine? and its either in the lines or wheel cylinders?
or does this show nothing.

Re: (JinDIESEL)
it has to be wheel cylinder take your drum off and press on the 2 boots. if there is alot of fluid leaking then they are bad there might be minimal leakage thats ok
