Default brake booster and master cylinder Question?????

I just repaired my rear cross member due to rust and brake fluid. the question is my master cylinder I think is leaking. It is wet where the brake booster and the master cylinder meet.
Another question how can you tell if a brake booster is bad? I might just have to replace the master cylinder but also would like to know how you can see if a brake booster is bad?

When you turn on the car while pressing the brake, the brake pedal should move closer to the floor (lose some of its tension) when the engine starts. This is from the brake booster receiving intake vacuum and shows that it is working. When the booster doesn't work, the brake pedal will stay too firm after starting the car. A leak where the MC meets the booster is usually the MC gasket.

I'd bank on the MC as well. If you're interested, I have a brand new EX one laying around I'm trying to part with

I need this question answered. Is there any difference in a 15/16 integra master cylinder and brake booster than a 99 si master cylinder and brake booster that is stamped 7/8 on it. both are non abs btw.

Acura integra BB and MC 15/16
99 si BB and MC 7/8
any difference?

I don't know the answer, but it seems like you needed to know someone was looking or trying to figure it out.
Sorry!

thanks I wish someone knew the answer to my question. I mean a si has all wheel disc brakes and so does a acura integra. I guess I just will have to find out for myself and if it dosen't work then I will have to try the integra one.
