Default H&R sports on my eg

i have h&r spots on my eg. i love the ride not to soft not to stiff, but i want it a little lower. i know i can go with the races but then that would be to stiff. can someone give me an idea of what to do to get it alittle lower. any help would be appreciated. by the way they are on oem sturts all the way around. thanks

if i were you i would look at omni power coilovers they are adjustable and bad ***! i think there about 650 but well worth the money. your still running stock struts which im sure arent in the best shape and buying new springs and struts would cost you about the same as the full coilovers.. goodluck

Any low coilover/is going to be stiffer. It has to be to accomodate more shock travel otherwise you'd blow your shocks.

Just get races if you like the stance and fork up the cash for some decent shocks.

If you're on a budget get AGX's or illuminas.

(Go for the illuminas)

i wouldn't pay $650 for an omni full coilover. I got tokico illuminas and H&R race springs on my last car for about $300 used.

Omnis aren't even adjustable.

All coilovers are adjustable. I was referring to the shocks.

I wouldn't trust any company to pick shock settings for MY car and driving style.

Not for $650.

Koni's and a good spring can be had for less than that. NEW.

Kyb's aren't meant to handle a drop that low. Says so from the manufacturer and on the box.

it's better than using them on stock shocks, I'm sure they'll still last a while.

You can't go lower without going stiffer...plain and simple.

I can think of 3 i've seen just here.

The manager at Tokyo speed pros had a set they blew out at only a 2.5" drop after 3 months. Still hasn't gotten in contact with the company.

^Yeah, but whenever you're "ballin' on a budget" like me...then you research EVERYTHING before you buy it

I would hate to toss about $700 then one year later have to go and spend close to $1,000 for a good set of coilovers...why take the gamble on the $700 when you can just save up a little more and get the higher quality set?

So adjust them. Make them softer.
