Re: Bad ground? My ecu fuse keeps blowing! (preludedriva)
i am thnking about doing a ecu cut off switch
with a separate fuse
i am looking at the ecu pinout im confused on which ground wire to use...the logic or the power ground? and i am having difficulties finding the actual power pinout for the ecu
anyone?

Re: Bad ground? My ecu fuse keeps blowing! (preludedriva)
whats the model of the car? cause certain 96-98 civic blow that fuse and its a short in one of the junction connector wires.... so i would def check for a open in the wirning somewhere.
if you dont fix the problem and avoid it, and make your seperate ecu cut off.. its just goin to be worse in the long run

but i had this crome chipped ecu with the same map on it that has o2 sensor disabled (for wideband) and ive been running that with my o2 unplugged

Re: Bad ground? My ecu fuse keeps blowing! (preludedriva)
i noticed smoke coming from under the hood and i checked it...and it was my 02 sensor wiring being fried.... i guess it melted or something on my exhaust
this caused my car to die and throw a CEL
would that cause my ecu fuse to blow?
i have another ecu chip with the same map but it has o2 sensor on open loop (by pass for wideband) and it runs fine
is it safe to say my problem is sovled? i still have a bigger fuse intheir til i can get home
