Default Bad acceleration d15b7 engine!

Okay so I have been having coolant loss and I figured out it's a headgasket issue so I'm replacing it but I'm also getting another issue with accelerating once I hit around 35mph right before it hits the 40MPH mark it makes a weird noise like its red lining I don't have an rpm gauge my car didn't come with it just a huge temperature gague my speed meter and the fuel gague but after it starts redlining it stays doing that revving sound until I take my foot off the gas then slowly push it down again then it passes 40MPH and it's fine after that it just does it around switching into 3rd gear I drive an automatic oh and when I first turn it on in the morning while it's cold everything works fine switches gears perfectly no hesitation or that revving noise and it drives so much faster it only happens after it heats up

Don't drive with a bad head gasket. You'll burn up the engine.

Likely the transmission is going bad. Have you checked the fluid level?
