B18B1 running rough
ihave a b18b1 in my cx hatch and its been acting up. First off when im driving down the road the engine cuts out and rpms start dropping, i have to down shift and keep my foot on the gas to keep it going then it backfires and gets back to normal. Next when i'm sitting at a stop the idle jumps from 800rpm to 2000 rpm. i ve checked for broken wires, cracked or broken vacuum lines and cant find anything. I would appreciate any advice

That idling issue when engine is hot sounds like a Dirty/Faulty IACV(Idle Air Control Valve). Usually cleaning them with cleaner does the trick. It his bolted to the back of your Intake Manifold Plenum via two 12mm bolts. Unhook both coolant lines running to it, unbolt it and clean the fine mesh screen. I usually use Carb Cleaner and a fine brush.
Is your CEL on? If so, what codes is it throwing? What ECU are you running? Has it always ran this way or did it just start acting up out of the blue when you haven't been under the hood messing with anything?

OBD1 with hondata S300, just started doing it, i will definately do that, the car today has been jumping up to 2000rpm and dropping to 1000rpm whenever i stop over and over again. i found on the throttle position sensor one of the wires was split and barely hanging together, theres not enough wire to fix because its right a the sensor
