B16B swap and now RPM guage flutters. Please Help!!!
I recently did a B16B swap from a 2000 CTR into my 1994 EX coupe. Everything runs fine expect when im crusing around, the rpm needle will flutter and I can feel the engine stuttering when accelerate. It dosen't backfire or anything crazy like that while im driving and I notice the stuttering.
When I did the swap, I took all of the distributer guts from my D16Z6 and placed them into the B16B distributer so the connector would work with my OBD1 wiring harness. I converted the motor to a OBD1. I am using the factory Z6 harness that came out of my car.

I am running a P28 with Hondata S300. I got the car tuned at Mainstream in GA. Everything is hooked up right.
Another weird this my car is doing is that the engine is set to redline at 9K and when I rev the engine that high, my tach will only go to 8K. My car is a 94 EX coupe. It still has the original cluster that reads up to 9K. Also it seems to do it more when the engine is cold. I know what your thinking and NO I dont redline when the engine is cold. The fluttering starts at around 3K.
And another issue that I'm sure is related to my problem. If I am holding the rpm's steady in any gear about to floor it, only when I would be in VTEC when I floor it cause my VTEC is set to engage at 55% throttle, and then I floor it, the car stumbles for a second and then goes. Its like it hits a wall. Its all very weird.
I have had an LS/VTEC set-up for about three years and never have run into this problem. I will try to make a video of the problem while im driving so you can see. Thanks

No check engine lights and all lines are run to specs. Forgot to throw that in there
