Re: b16 Dock Vtech
Years ago I had a set of Bosch wires that practically fell apart when I
pulled them out to do a spark plug change. Can't say I'll buy them again.
EDIT: Like Marc said, OEM wires are probably the best.
They are ~$70 shiped from Majestic.

I think MSD uses richporter technologies distributors, but not certain.
OEM is superior, aftermarket ICMs are notorious for being faulty. You can use sensors from any B,D,H,F series distributor and there are two OEM brands for the ICM, Hitachi and NEC, all of them can be swapped around regardless of part number. Coils can swap as long as the post is in the right spot for your cap since they're all the same part number.
If the body is ruined itself, you can salvage the shaft and bearing assembly from other distributors, most use one stamped P06. I found these in D series, Integra LS and F series Accord distributors. And you can buy the seal for the bottom of the body of the distributor.
Some people don't want to mix distributors and motors, not wanting to cut off tabs or widen slots to make a different distributor work or put D series parts in a B series distributor. However, the screws pretty much just keep it from wiggling around or turning and there are cam sensors that use one bolt alone, so that should work. Also people run motors on different ecus than what was meant for them, but they work. The guts all physically fit in other bodies. The fact is it works. I'm not a professional mechanic, just someone who's been broke and resourceful and found that this works.

yup, go with oem. Best quality and only a few bucks more than advance and such charge. Or check out Rock Auto, they have some decent quality stuff for decent prices.
