Default Anybody use Equal tire balancing powder?

Well I have been screwed over and pissed off the last three times I have been to the tire shop so I am looking at buying my own tire mounting machine. I think they would be worth the investment but I am not sure about a spin balancer. I used to work for a trucking company and we used some stuff called equal balancing powder in truck tires. Its like a bag of sand you put inside your tire and once you start moving it will stick to the inside of your tire wherever its needed and balance your tire. Its advertised to work with small car tires as well as truck tires. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with it or something like a civic or del sol? Some people claim at certain speeds it tends to go in and out of balance but I have never personally seen this problem.

I've only used Hunter Balancing machines and dismount machines. best and most accurate IMO. It is what every dealership i've worked for uses

I've used hunter before, it's what we had when I worked at Honda. The balancer was nice. The tire changer was the absolute worst i've ever seen.

hunter is expensive

the shop i work in has the balancer and mounter + an older mounter

the mounter is ok except impossible when you want to put tires on a 19"+ wheel

the balancer is ok but needs occasional software updates

I have read about dyna beads before. However, I do not know anyone that has used them.

The new Hunter machine balances up to 24" rims i believe and above that I've had to use items similar to dyna beads in the tire.. supposed to balance the tire as you're driving. I've never used them on my cars personally but have installed them in customer cars. Never had any comebacks yet.
