Default Any problems with buying reman calipers?

I'm looking into doing a brake upgrade but cant find any Honda genuine NSX calipers. There are plenty reman's out there for half the cost.

Anyone have any issues with using reman'ed calipers? Is one store better than another?

Reman'd parts from NAPA and other garage supply places are good. I'd stay away from Advance auto, Autozone, Pep-boys etc.

the other nice thing is you can get a loaded caliper from most places that have the brake pads and shims all ready installed

I work at Napa, their remans are good.

I bought a set of remaned calipers from autozone before i got hired on at napa and when i got them, the driver side bolt holes had no thread and the passenger side was cracked all the way through.

I've had good luck @ napa too for reman parts. I only go to pepboys/autozone for stuff like oil, fuels system cleaner, etc.
