Felpro head gaskets have been proven to be to the spec of OEM. I myself have used felpro gaskets when the OEM gaskets failed, and currently have 226k miles with the felpros and no problems.

This is the parent company that owns the felpro brand. As you can see, they also own moog, Champion, Precision, Sealed Power, Anco, Speed pro and Wagner. All which are OEM replacement parts, to OEM quality spec.
If you want to pay the extra cost for the OEM name (Which is usually the best option) vs the OEM spec (and proven to oem spec) your call. However if you're comparing proven oem spec vs crap oem spec, then don't complain because you didn't do your research =]
just my 2 cents.

I think the key if you use felpro is prep and proper install, new headbolts and proper torque sequence.
I know some recommend copper spray.

OEM. two cars both been beat on for almost 200k+ miles. no leaks. no damage.
its only like 10 dollars more for it.
oem spec doesn't mean oem.

I've never had any trouble with Felpro's other gaskets, but I haven't used one of their head gaskets. (I know, that's no real help...)

I used Felpro in my turbo build, held 300whp on the dyno. ARP's were torqued to 62ftlbs, now they're at 75 ftlbs.
They have the blue layer that supposed seals better or something, I have no idea. Use a MLS gasket if you're D-series.

I've used many a Fel-Pro Perma Torquse gaskets, everything from 4 cyl Chevette, Totoytas, Small / Big Block Chevy, Turbo and SuperCharged V-6s. Never had 1 that did not fit perfectly, lineup accurately and seal completely. TRW re-rings kits used to come with McCord gaskets, you mid to low end, we routinely used all the McCord paper and cork gaskets, but sprung for Fel-Pro Head gaskets. The blue sealant on them takes the place of copper spray, but you only get 1 use.

I have always heard only good things regarding Fel-pro Head gaskets. I myself might be in need of a headgasket change here too, and if I don't just go with OEM, then it definitely will be felpro and nothing else.

people kill me with the oem only deal, do you think honda produces every belt and fluid they put into their cars? I'm not saying don't get an oem headgasket, I just find it weird that so many people here just say the same thing regardless of the situation.

Re: Any one used Felpro Head Gasket? Any experiences?
Well the OP thread stated "Anyone use FelPro".. Not, hey can everyone tell me to go OEM. That's the obvious ****** solution, it's called OEM for a reason. OEM is always the most "appropriate" one to use. Also, OP, I've sold FelPro for years and used them on every vehicle I've owned. My full build 302 in my stang has a Full FelPro Gasket set and it's been track beaten for almost 6 years now, still like the day I bought the kit. Sheesh, the dickheadness that takes place here over people asking for assistance is at the least ignorant.

And you know what? The OP was more than a year and a half ago. I would HOPE he made a decision by now. Thank the noob that bumped an old thread.

Grumble, thanks for pointing that out. But wasn't particularly pointing you out as being ******** lol. Just pointing out how people always deviate from the topic and never clearly answer the question and if they do it's normally rude or opposing what the OP was asking. I've learned by now, you're not a ********, you're just grumble.

Try again.
Nippon Leakless and Ishino make Honda's head gaskets.
Personally I hate Felpro for Honda headgaskets, I've seen them fail in weird ways. But I wouldn't hesitate to use them in a domestic.
If I'm doing a headgasket in a Honda and I'm not using an OEM gasket I'll use a KP Gasket Co. gasket. They're as close to OEM as you're going to find.

You are welcome GrumbleMark..... But maybe someone had the same question in the last 18 months, my answer doesn't change anything that has been stated.
I may be a "Noob" to this forum, but my 3+ decades of training and experience maintaining/ building / repairing everything from dirt bikes, to automotive, to turbine aircraft engines, to heavy equipment, to multi-million dollar Semi-conductor processing equipment might just make my 2 cents on a product I have used repeatedly in the past worth at least 2 cents..
Just saying.... "Noob" does not automatically mean clueless....
