i need to fix my heater core, does anyone have guides, or do i just remove screws and pull away?

I've done it a million times on my del sol. If you any questions just ask me. Basically there are bolts on each end by the doors, one in the center by the windshield, one in the center at the bottom (under the center consol). I also makes it easier if you pull down your steering colum first.

For future work that needs to be performed, pick up a helms manual for 75 shipped... 1500 pages and its well worth it IMHO.

you also want to disconnect the cable for the heater controls. Get under the passenger side and swing the temp control back and forth and you will see where the cable connects. You should just have to swing a metal clip down, then slide the cable off the pin. There is also a bolt on each side (behind glove box and under the kick panel). Be careful with the glove box cause the hinges are notorious for breaking. I laughed at that for years until I broke one.
And yes, either take your steering wheel off, or drop the column.

i'm in the process of trying to remove my dash right now and the thing is loose as hell, its shimmying and shaking but won't pull out. is there something near the windshield holding the dash? do you have to lift and pull or anything like that? what's the trick?

in the center of the dash, up at the windshield, you have to pop that cover and remove a 10mm bolt...

any tips on removing the center bolt by the windshild..my ratchet seems to be to big and hits the windshild as i turn it..??? help!!
