air in clutch line..HELP
96 civic ex
my problem is that i keep getting air in the clutch line and have to bleed it every 2 or so weeks. replaced clutch slave cylinder bc it was leaking fluid. but still air getting in. went though and checked the whole line as best i can and cant find any leaks. btw the fluid is getting dirty but dont know how its getting that way.

the hydro fluid is known to get dirty in many cars, i think it's a reaction that happens in the lines...(i think) there must be a leak someplace in your lines, is tha cap on the fluid resivor? i think you should check again...

Check the master cylinder, the lines (both hard and soft) and the area where the clutch pedal connects to the master cylinder under the firewall. It's bound to be one of those.

not to steal your thread or anything. But i think i am going to run into the same problem. I check the fluid and it was low. I looked around and could not find any leaks.
