99 civic OEM foglight wiring!
hey guys i bought a complete OEM foglight kit for my 99 civic
the question is, what do i need to do in order for me to turn on my foglights before i turn my headlights on?
right now i'm using all the OEM brown connectors to power my foglights, if someone can link me to the how-to or DIY thread that'd be great!
p.s. this new search engine sucks!

Its possible to do it with your OEM fog light wire harness. Check the FAQ for that.
But in my opinion;
-Its complicated.
-Its known to blow fuses.
-Its too much work.
-Your fogs turn off when you high beam.
Do what I did. I bought a $20 harness from Pep Boys. It comes with COMPLETE 12v wire kit, relay, switch (can be wired up to OEM switch), zip ties, fuse, etc etc.
What it does, is power up your fog lights through ANY 12v connection, then it has an extra wire from the relay in which you connect to your parking lights. So in order for the fogs to get power, the relay has to allow it, and the relay allows it when it gets the current from the corner lights.
If you do this, you can;
-Allow your fogs to come on with your parking lights (looks sick).
-Your fogs blink when you enable your alarm.
-Your fogs work independently from high beams.
Glad to be of help!
