99 civic ex idle air control engine light on
hey cl, well today my 99 ex CEL light came on saying it was my Idle air control valve maulfunction. so i just cleaned all my hoses, and checked my plugs were all good and they where. so i took the full throttle body and IAC off my 96 ex that was perfect and put it on the 99. engine light still comes on.
what can it be?
also i have 2broken valve cover bolts that snaped. i know that will be a vacum leak but would it trip the CEL ? thanks

well when i cover the holes with something the idle goes down. yup it comes on after i earse it. takes some time, but comes on
