99-00 Civic Si Production Numbers?
I know this has been covered before, but can anyone provide a link to a document showing how many 99-00 Civic Si's were manufactured? Or how many of each color were produced per year? I've been searching but haven't really come up with anything, just found how many Civic's in total were made for those years...

Other than the two that used to be in town (I think one got totaled), I haven't managed to come across another blue one in a couple years. Mostly new style around here, including one really pissed owner of a Mugen sedan, you'd be pissed too if you couldn't outgun a 9 year old 140k mile essentially stock version of your shiny new $36k family car.

Re: 99-00 Civic Si Production Numbers?
I don't know if Honda's production information were that detailed. Since Em1 VIN's are probably not sequentially numbered by Honda. On top of that, the EM1's do not have any kind of special numbering, and they share the same bodystyle and 2 colors with other Civic coupes. So, I don't know how they could've specifically track them. Also, unlike Type R's, they were built here in the US alongside other Civics coupes in Ohio, so there probably aren't any internal documents showing how many were shipped to the states or anything like that.
I do know this though.... there are more 99-00 Civic Si's than 99-00 Civic Hatchbacks. And this is from personal experience from when I was bought my 99 hatch new. Eventhough I was very specific about what I wanted(trim, color, etc), hatches by this time only came in DX and CX trims, and only in 4 colors for the 99 year. Yet it took 4-5 months and almost 30 dealerships for me to find a '99 DAP Civic DX. Alot of dealers laughed me off their lots when I inquired about a buying hatchback, saying that Honda was slowly discontinuing HB models due to slow sales and that I would have to wait forever for them get one in. This was evidenced in the fact that EM1's were coupes instead of hatches(when traditionally Si models were hatches) and a lack of a HB model for '01 redesign. So, if you really want to inquire about rarity, a better question would be, "How many 99-00 hatcbacks did they make?"
