98 Civic DX/00 LS swap - Need 2 O2 sensor wire harness to pass CA emissions test
ok so im posting this for a friend as he needs help. he has a 98 civic dx with a 2000 ls swap and the ref told him that he needed to change his wire harness because it only has one o2 sensor and he needs to connect the second o2 sensor. so what wire harness should he get or can he use so that he can get it bard? any help is greatly appreciated.

What harness is your friend running? Stock Y7 harness is setup for 2 O2 sensors, if he used a Y8 harness it wont have a secondary O2 sensor as its part of the cabin harness on EX models.

If I'm not mistaken you will need an LS catalytic converter that has the second O2 (#26) in the cat. You then can extend the secondary O2 sensor harness to that sensor (see attached pic). If you need an extension harness check my signature below.
