Default 98 Civic with B20 throwing P0171 CEL

Hey guys I have a B20B swapped into a 98 Civc DX, It is running on a P75 ECU with an LS (P75) inake manifold with LS injectors, fuel rail and Throttle Body. It is throwing the code for too lean. Here is a list of all MODS and what I have done to it since the code began showing up.

MODS

AIRMASS ceramic header
OBX throttle body spacer
Password JDM Power chamber intake

Maintenance

Changed spark plugs, changed distributor cap and rotor, changed fuel filter, sprayed carb cleaner all over intake mani and vacume hoses, cleaned MAF sensor

Going to trade gas caps with my other civic as this is sometimes identified as a problem that may throw this code. That is kind of a stretch though.

Got anything? I have a trouble shooting flow but it is for an accord, is it the same?

I have seen this on here over and over but havent seen one that was followed through. Hook me up.

Fuel presuere is 32lbs at idle. When I give it gas it stops at 40lbs. No matter how much I give it it stops at 40. Even wide open. Got an adjustable FPR I'm going to pick up one from a buddy and see if the FPR is bad.

Plus its an AEM one so I have more underhood bling and can rock an AEM sticker! (kiding)

With the engine idling, what are the fuel pressures now with and without the vacuum hose to the FPR attached?

Not sure if this is the case but a lot of B20s throw too lean codes because of the notorious valve lash issue with B20. If all else fails you may want to get a valve adjustment, if it never has had one it'd be good to do it anyways.

WILCO are the tolerances the same fr the P8R head as the P75 head? Good thought, I was hoping to avoid this route but I feel like Ive done evreything else.

The gas was definately bad, it was in there for two years but I've run two tanks through it. and changed the filter. I'm almost through a third tank now with a bottle of sea foam added. my gas milage is low. 24MPG ish. I will get a better number for you when this tank is gone. I'm going to try to run it as long as i can to get it all out.

I've been meaning to pull the injectors. Do you know if the ones from a crv are the same?

Just finished running the third tank through will reset the ecu and see if it was bad gas. Anybody got any idea if CRV injectors will run on a p75 ECU? Oh yeah gas milage on this tank was 25mpg. so gay

Sorry, I know this thread is almost 5 years old. But I'm having a similar issue. And I was wondering if there was a solution found by the OP. Was this issue fixed ? And how ?
