97 civic d16y7 chugging?
about 3 weeks ago my car started to chugg while driving on the highway. doing about 70 mph.
i have since then replaced::::::: the spark plugs, wires dizzy cap, rotor, and the farthest right injector.
i replaced that injector because i wasn't getting spark in that cylinder but when i pulled the plug off while running nothing changed.
i then compression checked each cylinder. farthest right had NONE.
still chugs at all rpms and speeds.
my question.........
WHAT DO I NEED TO FIX NEXT?
could it be an exhaust valve stuck open? just a quick valve adjustment fix do it?
CODES: PO301, P0303, p1399 and one other i can't remember.
and the check engine light will blink if i maintain an easy throttle at any speed.
thanks its been awhile since i posted.

no compression.. none?! how are the other cylinders? could be a valve(s), hole in the piston, even a hole in the head... but i don't think that's too common with these motors.
if compression is ok on the other cylinders and timing is on, i'd pull the head off and find out what the deal is.

Who cares what would cause it? Just fix the problem. Your car is 14 years old. Things are going to start breaking now.
Do the test over just in case you did it incorrectly. If it's correct you're gonna have to pull the head any way.
