Default Help with compression analysis for d15b vtec 110k

I have a jdm d15b with a d16z6 head with about 110k miles on them (so I was told). My car smokes when I pop vtec every now and then and consume a quart of oil every 500-700 miles or so. Also I notice traces of oil near the head gasket area. I did a compression test at operating temperature and got 145 145 135 145, then a leak down 165 165 135 165. I also noticed oil on the spark plug in cylinder 2. My guess is that I have a bad head gasket, possible bad piston rings valve seals, guides, or seats. Are my thoughts correct?

well it's not a headgasket. white smoke comes from a blown headgasket from coolant being burned. and the compression readings would be much lower. also it would be two adjacent cylinders with low psi not just one.

if you're leaking oil two popular spots seem to be the valve cover gasket and the vtec solenoid gasket and they're fairly easy to do.

a new valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets can solve your problem with a little oil on your spark plug in cyl #2

Sorry for the confusion but the spark plug with oil on it was the same cylinder with lower compression

Does it smoke on startup after sitting a while? That would be a sign of valve seals...

It doesn't sound too bad, I'd wait for it to get worse before worrying about it so you can have better signs of what's wrong. But if you're going to change the rings, might as well change the valve seals as well when the head is off the block.
