I'm going to say no but if you manage it let me know because I need to get rid of this busted carbon fiber one.
But if you're going to replace the one on the car you're driving why not just remove the old one, drive and install the new one? Bring the tools.

In most places that's illegal, but if you explain that you're driving to get a new hood the cop may cut you a break, so long as you don't give him any attitude. Worst case it shouldn't be a major fine, equivalent of having a taillight out. Obviously if you've got a fartcan exhaust, rocker panel lights, blue headlights, clear corners w/o correctly colored bulbs, etc. and mouth off to the cop then the chance of getting off with a warning goes down tremendously.
It also helps to not be doing this near the end of the month, when cops are writing tickets to meet their quotas. Or whatever system they put in place to replace quotas in the places where they're not officially allowed to have quotas anymore (even though they still do the exact same thing). "Performance reviews" seems to be the monicker a lot of departments have adopted.

Well, it *just* fits inside a hatch, so depending on how wide the space is where the seats fold down on a coupe, it may just fit. If I was worried that I didn't want to waste a bunch of time and fuel still not knowing if it will fit, I would take off MY OWN hood, and test fit it in my trunk. Just sayin'. Especially if I didn't get a confident answer from the forums.

I want to say yes.. I myself have fit some amazing things back there and I've read about people fit some amazing things back there. If I were you I'd just ride with no hood to go pick up this hood and install it there. Like said above, if you do get pulled over by a cop he will probably understand your circumstances. But don't take my word for it! Good luck! Let us know how it goes and what you do.

ive fit a front bumper in my coupe and a d16z6 in my trunk pretty easy but i guess a hood has alot more diameter than a bumper.. would probably be close
